California Association of LAFCOs (CALAFCO)

CALAFCO serves as an organization dedicated to assisting member LAFCOs with technical resources and providing statewide coordination of LAFCO activities, representation before the State Legislature and other bodies, and a structure for sharing information among the various LAFCOs and with other governmental agencies through the State.

Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG)

The Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) is one of more than 560 regional planning agencies across the nation working to help solve problems in areas such as land use, housing, environmental quality, and economic development.

California Special Districts Association (CSDA)

CSDA provides education and training, insurance programs, legal advice, industry-wide litigation and public relations support, legislative advocacy, capital improvement and equipment funding, collateral design services, and, most importantly, current information that is crucial to a special districts management and operational effectiveness.

California Association of Recreation and Park Districts

The California Association of Recreation and Park Districts is an organization dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of recreation and park districts throughout California.

County of Sonoma

Sonoma County is located approximately 30 miles north of San Francisco. With over 480,000 residents, it is home to award-winning wineries, scenic coastline and beaches, majestic redwoods, fascinating museums, shopping, galleries, diverse festivals, farm markets and a variety of incredible eateries. The largest city and county seat is the city of Santa Rosa.

Sonoma County Water Agency

The Sonoma County Water Agency provides a variety of services including supplying naturally filtered Russian River water to nine cities and special districts which in turn deliver drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties. The Agency also provides flood protection services, distribution of recycled water, recreational opportunities and wastewater treatment.
