North County Municipal Service Review and Sphere Amendment

Commission staff has prepared a study of the fire and emergency service agencies in North County, referred to as Region 6. The study evaluates the services provided by the Northern Sonoma and Cloverdale Fire Protection Districts, and territory within County Service Area 40. The study recommends amending the sphere of influence of Northern Sonoma Fire Protection District to include all territory in the Region other than the City of Healdsburg.

The Commission will consider adopting the determinations of the report and the proposed amendments to the spheres of influence at a Public Hearing at the March 3, 2021 meeting.  Interested parties are encouraged to comment on the study and the sphere of influence amendment proposal.
