Notice of Availability Public Review Draft City of Santa Rosa Municipal Service Review and Sphere of Influence Update

In accordance with the Cortese-Knox-Hertzberg Local Government Reorganization Act of 2000, Sonoma LAFCO has recently conducted a Municipal Service Review (MSR) and Sphere of Influence Update for the City of Santa Rosa.   The Commission retained RGS, Inc. to conduct the MSR, which is an analysis of services both presently provided and planned for the future.  The report has been prepared with assistance and input from representatives of the City.

A Draft of the City of Santa Rosa Municipal Service Review and Sphere of Influence Update is currently available for public review and comment for a period beginning immediately (here) and ending on February 19, 2024.

You may request a hard copy of the Public Review Draft from the LAFCO office at the address above or by calling (707) 565-2577. Based on comments received, a revised final draft will be produced and considered by the Commission at a future public hearing.
