Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is Hereby Given that the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission will hold a public hearing on the item described below, at or after 2:00 p.m. on May 6, 2020.

Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Orders N-25-20 and N-29-20, which suspend certain provisions of the Ralph M. Brown Act, and the directive of the Health Officer of the County of Sonoma to shelter in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission will conduct this meeting entirely by teleconference.

No Physical Location for the Meeting will be Available

Members of the Public Cannot Attend this Meeting in Person

Anyone who wishes to participate in the meeting should consult the meeting agenda for the call-in telephone number. The agenda will be posted on the Commission’s website at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time of the meeting.

At the hearing, the Commission will hear and receive any relevant written testimony and evidence presented or filed concerning the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Proposed Budget. The Commission will consider the report of the Executive Officer and may accept or amend the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Proposed Budget. Copies of all documents relating to the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Proposed Budget will be available for review on the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission website, www.sonomalafco.org, on or after April 29, 2020.

Written comments on the public hearing item to be considered at the May 6, 2020, meeting must be received by Sonoma LAFCO by Tuesday, May 5 2020, at 10:00 a.m. in order to be distributed to Commissioners. If you challenge the actions of the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission in court on the Fiscal Year 2020-21 Proposed Budget, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.

All interested persons are hereby invited to be heard on the matters described in this notice consistent with the electronic participation options as will be identified on the meeting agenda.
