Notice is hereby given that the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a public hearing at which time all interested persons may be heard on the following item:
File No. 16-11: Cloverdale Reorganization No. 2016-01 (Nu Forest) Involving Annexation to the City of Cloverdale and Detachment from County Service Area No. 41 (Multi-Services)
The City of Cloverdale initiated the proposal by resolution. The subject territory consists of seven parcels, totaling approximately 42.5 acres, generally located south of Crocker Road, east of U.S. Highway 101 and Asti Road, north of the City of Cloverdale wastewater treatment plant and corporation yard, and west of the Russian River (APNs116-260-004, -030, -033, -045, -046, -050, and -055). The reason for the proposal is to allow development for uses and at densities permitted by the City of Cloverdale’s General Plan and access to City services. The Commission approved the proposal on January 4, 2017, by Resolution No. 2667. At the hearing, the Commission will consider any written protests made, presented, or filed with the Commission. Any owner of land within the subject territory may file a written protest against the proposal with the Executive Officer of the Commission at any time prior to the conclusion of the public hearing described in this notice. Any owner of land who has filed a written protest may withdraw that protest at any time prior to the conclusion of the hearing described in this notice.
Each written protest submitted by an owner of land affected shall state the name and address of the owner and the street address or other description sufficient to identify the location of the land. Protests may be made on behalf of an owner of land by an agent authorized in writing by the owner to act as agent with respect to that land. Protests may be made on behalf of a private corporation which is an owner of land by any officer or employee of the corporation without written authorization by the corporation to act as agent in making the protest.
Each written protest shall show the signature of the owner signing and the date that each signature was affixed to the protest. All signatures without a date or bearing a date prior to the date of publication of this notice shall be disregarded for purposes of ascertaining the value of any written protests.

All Interested persons are hereby invited to be present and heard on the matter described in this notice.
If you challenge the actions of the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission on the environmental determinations and the proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
