Notice of Public Hearing Proposed FY 2023-24 Preliminary Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a public hearing at or after 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at which time all interested persons may be heard on the following item:

Fiscal Year 2023-24 Sonoma LAFCO Proposed Budget

At the hearing, the Commission will hear and receive any relevant written testimony and evidence presented or filed concerning the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Proposed Budget. The Commission will consider the report of the Executive Officer and may accept or amend the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Proposed Budget.

Copies of all documents relating to the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Proposed Budget will be available for review on or after March 31, 2023, at the Commission’s office located at 111 Santa Rosa Avenue, Suite 240, Santa Rosa, on the Commission’s website, www.sonomalafco.org or upon request to lafco@sonoma-county.org.

Written comments on the public hearing item to be considered at the April 5, 2023, meeting must be received by Sonoma LAFCO by Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to be distributed to Commissioners. For questions, please call the Commission office at (707) 565-2577.

If you challenge the actions of the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission in court on the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Proposed Budget, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE HEREBY INVITED TO BE HEARD ON THE MATTERS DESCRIBED IN THIS NOTICE CONSISTENT WITH THE ELECTRONIC PARTICIPATION OPTIONS AS WILL BE IDENTIFIED ON THE MEETING AGENDA.
