Notice of Public Protest Hearing

Protest Hearing Date: Wednesday, July 5, 2017
Time: at or after 2:00 p.m.
Location: Sonoma County Administration Building, 575 Administration Drive, Room 102A, Santa Rosa, California

Notice is hereby given  by the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission will conduct a public hearing at which time all interested persons may be heard on the following item:

File No. 17-03: Valley of the Moon Fire Protection District’s Request for Authorization of Contracted Services with the Glen Ellen Fire Protection District (Valley of the Moon FPD)

The request seeks the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission approval of a contract for services that will be provided by Valley of the Moon Fire Protection District to the Glen Ellen Fire Protection District including management, administrative, staffing and other services. The request includes an executed contract for services, a plan for services, an independent fiscal analysis pursuant to Government Code Section 56134, and a resolution of application from the Valley of the Moon Fire Protection District.

The request has been determined to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act.

Copies of all documents relating to the Fiscal Year 2017-18 Proposed Budget will be available for review at the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission office. If you cannot attend the public hearing described in this notice, you may submit written comments prior to the hearing.  Please direct comments, questions, and requests to review documents to the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission, 575 Administration Drive, Room 104A, Santa Rosa, California, 95403, (707) 565-2577

All Interested persons are hereby invited to be present and heard on the matter described in this notice.

If you challenge the actions of the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission on the environmental determinations and the proposal in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Sonoma Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the hearing.
